Thank you for purchasing your 2017-Up Arctic Cat 9000/Yamaha Sidewinder 998 Turbo Full Velocity exhaust from BMP! This exhaust is designed to provide big horsepower, increase airflow, and remove heat from the exhaust system. This exhaust has been extensively tested in our Superflow 902 dyno center and proven to make power in real-world conditions. Due to our unique design, this exhaust will safely increase boost levels well below the stock limitations for an over-boost condition. We highly recommend our Stage 2 clutch kit to go with this exhaust. For even more power, run our ECU tuning which offers even more performance gains. See installation instruction steps below.

IMPORTANT - Read the entire instructions before proceeding. If any of it does not make sense or is not in your skillset, please have an experienced technician perform the install.

- Remove your right-hand side panel to access the stock exhaust, then remove the hood.

- Remove the factory heat shield from the stock muffler by removing the two 8mm bolts, and three Torx head bolts (Save this piece)

- Remove the six T-50 Torx bolts holding the factory muffler to the turbo

- Lift the muffler off the mounting brackets and remove it from the machine.

- Remove the factory rubber grommets and install them on your BMP Muffler

- Make sure your factory gasket is in good shape. Re-use this gasket. Hold the gasket to the muffler when installing

- Install the BMP muffler & gasket into the machine and bolt to the turbo using the supplied 6 Allen head bolts. Anti-size is recommended on the bolt threads.

- Install the factory heat shield into place using the factory bolts. This will use only 3 of the 5 factory bolts (two 8mm, one Torx).

- Go ride and enjoy a wicked fast 998 Turbo with excellent sound!
